On a sadder note:

The inventor of the sandal cries in his home, he lives with the little old lady who lived in a shoe, the woman that had so many children she didn't know what to do. All of his children's feet were impeccably dressed. They live in Italy now because it is shaped like a boot. Familiarity is best, when your passion in life is footwear.

He is upset because his invention is being used improperly.

Socks are not supposed to be worn with sandals. This trend makes all of his thinking and specific calculations designed to free the toes of the world from their torment of excess fabric and unnecessary covering during the summer,,,,, in vain. His promise to those wiggly wonderful toes that he tried so hard to free,,,,, broken.

His life is in shambles.

He visits with the inventor of the robe as much as possible. The robe inventor has been institutionalized since the introduction of the Snuggie. He sits in his padded room rocking back and forth saying: "but mine has a belt,,, but mine has a belt".


Please consider this poor man's feelings before you choose to defile the sanctity of the sandal by wearing socks.
