Put a fork in me...

I'm done.....

Ever feel that way?

I cried because I woke up...

And nothing has changed...

After fighting each battle..none was won..

and more have quarried with the breaking day...

Throw the fake armour down...

we all know you are stronger...

Let's go hand to hand...

heart to heart....

I've proven my "strength"....

I need a reprieve....

others retreat....

I am still running into battle....

alone

with blood for tears....

Am I valiant still for showing weakness?

I don't think so.....

I put my armour down......

and honorably limp away....

to concede to your victory....

At least that's what I'd say if I were in Medieval times and shit, battling measured foe or seething dragon, all while wearing a tightly corseted dress and a pink "cone" Princess hat with tulle coming out of the top, (the dragon scares me less).

Life is a strong adversary, it keeps winning, but I keep honing my survival skills, I just need a day of rest, free of worry, sleeping soundly (or at all for that matter), trying to get my strength back, but it hits everyday, even today already.

THE GRAVITY OF THE SITUATION...(no, not Jersey Shore's "Situation" this time!!)

I need to go blow bubbles and eat pop rocks...

If you know someone who feels stressed today, stop and hug them. I sure could use one, I bet you know someone who could too..

Sometimes a hug is all it takes to be someones hero!!

And then you are a "HUG-HERO"!!!! So make up a theme song, put on your blue tights and stand in the wind with your cape blowing regally behind you!!

And send me a picture, because I hear you have nice legs!!

Sorry, I was laughing a bit. I thought by Mid. Times you were referring to the restaurant. BTW...mentally sending a nice warm hug from me to you. My legs are meh.

*looks at picture of me in blue tights*

*burns them*

Nothing to see here, move along!

*slinks away*

I hope you feel better soon.

I think the "Princess hat" is called a "wimple," actually . . . just saying. It's like being able to give the secret handshake at a renaissance faire, I think, if you know that term :-)

[Note the e on the end of "faire" . . .]

And remember, no Coke with those pop rocks . . . makes your stomach explode, or something. Head explode? Maybe that's it.

Oh, and hover, don't sit, on a public restroom toilet seat, or you could get pregnant.

Big Giant Hug, you can sit on my lap, rest your head and I will stroke your back as I did my children when they needed peace. Breath in, Breath out.
No pointy cone for you dear. It has blown off and your wild mane is tossed by the wind whipping off the coast of Scotland.

I'll find my legs pic. They're my best feature.

Sometimes things happen and they suck! Thats what I decided today... I drove an hour away for a class.... Just to find out it was the day before and I missed it! It royaly screwed me for my job, and I ended up missing FIVE hours of work.. which doesnt sound like much, unless you're broke.. which I'm pretty damn close to being :) (but arent we all? lol)

Never the less.. I pouted..

Then I did something about it! I focused my energy into fixing it, and I did! Sometimes we just have to take the crap and turn it into something better! I know its not as easy as it sounds.. but I know your talented self will think of something :)

p.s. you are a fantastic writer! :)

I'm so sorry things are still feeling crappy. You are such a talented writer. You have a way of telling your story that speaks to my inner child and makes her feel a little less silly for being scared sometimes. The picture of you in a pink tulle princess cap reminded me of my favourite childhood story called "The Muffin Muncher". Stop laughing. It's not THAT kind of muffin muncher. The Muffin Muncher was a dragon who saved a village from going hungry when the baker ran out of firewood. Anyways, it's a story about resiliency and making the most of whatever comes our way. Hang in there, one day at a time. - G
